Biography |
I’m a retired engineer who designed fly-by-wire flight controls for advanced aircraft, managed the 747-400 environmental control system design and production, designed the application of a Toyota v8 engine and FADEC through to FAA Certification. Founded Aerosance and designed piston engine FADECs for Continental and Lycoming engines. Designed and built the FADEC for Orenda V8 engine. Founded Aerocomposites, making composite airplane propellers, one of which was on the vehicle that one the Collier trophy. I have commercial, multi, IFR licenses and rating. I’ve owned a Cessna 340A for the last 7 years. I’ve previously owned a Cessna 310 and 320. I’ve flown the Baron B55 and 58 but much prefer the 300’s. I earned my PPL on one bitterly cold and blustery February day in 1971. I’ve enjoyed flying ever since and still do.
