    Hi there,

I have been looking around and it seems that a wifi based landing gear camera which the ipad could connect to when I lower my landing gear would be a very useful and cheap addition to any retract. I know I would love to have one attached to a plane in the rear of my c310Q so I could see my landing gear and validate that it is down and locked. Yes, I know thats what 3 little lights are for, but it would be a cool addition. Anyone ever found something like this?

    Thanks,

    Hugh

My wife got me a GoProp Hero 3+ Black for Christmas, with its suction cup mount.

I stuck it to the wing and flew home one day. I didn’t fly very fast even though I knew they’d tested it over 200mph. It stayed on the plane even during descent at around 170-ish KIAS.

It shows a view on the iPhone display.

You could just mount one on there with an extended battery… 🙂
