The Janitrol ventilating air blower in my 1984 Crusader is not working, so no hot air on the ground. I can see the fan in the inlet duct and it doesn’t turn when I’ve tested it on the ground. Heat works great inflight when the vent blower is not needed. Combustion blower works fine and it leak tested great at the recent annual.

Havent’t yet checked to see if it’s the switch/wiring/circuitry, but assuming it’s the blower motor itself, does anyone have any insight on having this motor repaired or replaced? Is it worth trying to replace the brushes and bearings on this little motor, or is it better off just getting a new/rebuilt blower motor?

Any good sources for parts for a Janitrol B4050 24 VDC?

Aircraft heating and electrical in Redding Ca replaced / rebuilt my blower motor when they overhauled my heater. They did excellent work on my heater and not a problem since
